4 sessions exploring different art and craft projects, producing beautiful items to enhance your home or to give as gifts. £50 deposit, final payment by Tuesday 17th June 2025.
Join us for a fun project each week creating something unique and beautiful to take home. Only 4 places available (assisted by 2 tutors); all materials included and refreshments provided. Full payment by Tuesday 17th June.
Dates: Tuesday mornings in July (1st; 8th; 15th; 22nd)
Time: 10.00am to 1.00pm
Tutors are myself, and Christine March.
Chris is an extremely experienced tutor - here is a little bit about her:
'Chris Marsh is a textile designer and printer.
Working in various roles in the textile industry for much of her life Chris undertook a Textile Design degree at Farnham, UCA and graduated in 2023.
Since graduating, Chris has been teaching her own workshops incorporating various art mediums and printing techniques in her home studio.
Two of her favourite printing techniques are Shibori, a Japanese resist dying process and Cyanotype, where images are developed using chemicals under the natural U V rays of the sun.
Each process is completely different from the other but both leave beautiful blue hues and images on the cloth and paper.
Each workshop aims to be informative and fun.'
